Barnard studied cinematography at the New York Film Academy and has produced 2 feature films (Tierra de Sangre / Chile and Por Mis Bigotes / Mexico), as well as documentaries for National Geographic and a variety of commercial shoots. He has worked on some of the biggest projects in Mexico, including BARDO, Narcos, Mosquito Coast, Barb & Star, Infinite, among others.

Passionate about technology and cinematography, Barnard has shown an interest from an early age in how technology can be used to create unique visual and artistic experiences. This interest led him to discover cinematographic drones, and since then, he has been hooked.

Barnard began his career in the world of film production, working on small projects as a camera assistant and eventually becoming a feature film producer. However, he always felt that something was missing until he discovered cinematographic drones. He fell in love with the freedom they offer to capture images from angles and perspectives never seen before.

Since then, Barnard has dedicated himself to perfecting his skills in the use of cinematographic drones. He has worked on projects of all sizes, from short films to big-budget film productions. His goal is always the same: to use cinematographic drones to create impactful images that tell stories in a unique and exciting way.

In 2016, Barnard founded ESCUADRON, an aerial cinematography company dedicated to creating high-quality aerial images for film and television. As a certified pilot and cinematographic drone specialist, Barnard brings his experience and knowledge to every project he works on. His focus on quality and safety has earned him recognition within the industry, and he is always looking for new ways to use technology to improve his skills and offer amazing visual experiences.
